you mean rare? not rear?

Subaru RX
Subaru XT
Subaru SVX

sorry, I only like Subarus ;)

Honestly, though, I grew up with all the newer cars (I'm only 18 ) so I don't have much of an opinion on the older stuff.

Galant VR4s are pretty rare, I've only seen three. A Legacy SS is a more common sight, but I still like it better.

SS's are better cars than VR4's. less funky stuff to break/go bad, they arent a DSM, and they are a couple hundred pounds lighter.
VR4's are totally bad ass anyway, this hot chick that lived near me last year drove one.

For Sport Sedan vs GR4 stats, see this:

http://legacycentral.org/articles/vs/vs_3.htm

I liked both generations of the Impulse, and the wagonback was particularly funky.

The AW20 MR2 has always been a favorite, and the AW11 Supercharged has always been on the far side of practicality, but cool nonetheless.

I kinda liked the Merkur XR4Ti, aka the Ford Sierra, because it was really different. Only later did I realize that it was a very successful rally car designed in europe.

I think I like the bmw m6 best... The look is timeless and power to match. This will be a collectors car. Very hard to find though.

I prefer the 3.0 CSi to the later 6-series, but they're both pretty slick. 3.0s rusted like mad, though. The maintenance on those old BMWs are worse than contemporary Ferraris.

GLHS, SS, M6, VR-4, Quattro, Impulse, Spirit.

I'd rank the 323GTX after the VR-4.

I'd have to say SS first because I think the SS has the most untapped potential of any of the cars listed.

Then I'd do a GVR4. Yes, I know, DSM. I hate Mitsu-shit-si's, but I was so close to having a GVR4 before I got my Legacy. So close. Still remember the number, 1803 of 2000.

Then I'd say the Isuzu. Those are as rare as SS's around here.

I'd have to say the VR-4. It's a badass car and nobody would ever know it to look at it. Plus the 4WS is just cool.

My buddy I grew up with just bought a '89 323 GTX. Tight little rally car. My other friend has a mint VR4, but might be getting rid of it to go nuts with his MR2.

I always liked the Celica Turbo All-Trac. Could be a total sleeper. I talked to this highschool kid (yes kid), who was standing by his pristine example, and asked him if he'd done anything to it. His response, "Its already pretty fast."
