EJ22t Stroker From Stock Parts?

Has anyone successfully taken a stock Phase I EJ25 crank and rods and installed it in the EJ22t block with stock EJ22t pistons?

I have heard of a few companies selling kits that use custom pistons with different pin placements. When qeustioned about this pin placement the response I received was that this was only to reduce piston speed. Doesn't make much sense but ok.

Very curious about this since I have a complete 22t shortblock sitting around as well as a complete Phase I DOHC 2.5.
