Welcome, inzomniac. I agree with totech, you must be lovin the snow. I'm in FL so I don't have the fun you do!

You're 18 with a Legacy Turbo? Consider yourself lucky. I'm 18 with an L, and I honestly bought it coz I needed a car, but then I realized how much potential it had, now I love it to death...

Looks like you got a race car there; you still got a heater, right :o ? Put some pics up, this car sounds interesting...

Mark: I'm Private pilot rated, with around 80hrs total. I'm not current right now as I have not touched a plane since last October!! But I've been doing glider flying for air cadets to keep myself sane (almost an instructor in gliders). I'm planning on working some retard job that pays well next year and do my commercial the year after.

As for my car, I'm not too big into drag racing... no QM times as of yet, but I'm sure I'll get bored enough in the summer and go to one of the TSC meets at shannonville. You should get yourself of the Toronto board, I'm not from Toronto... but I'm close enough to go to all the meets (Peterborough).

Ya flying for me too is an addication even greater then modding cars :D Just curious what you flew when current, the usuals? C-150/172? I'd want to join the Toronto Subaru club but its too far away to drive for any events, considering I'm in Ottawa. Besides theres a much larger Subaru presence down there. luckilly we have a drag strip (across the river in Quebec) here and their building another one just outside of Ottawa! What I'd really like is to go down to Mosport or Mont Tremblant and do some circuits with my Sport sedan.

inzomniac - why you stripping all the creature comforts out if you're not doing the QM? Just curious. To each their own. I'm doing SCCA Rally-X this season as well as BMWCCA ice racing this late winter. I haven't really felt the need to go so far as removing the AC just yet. but then considering your location, perhaps it is just dead weight :D . Anyways, welcome to the board, enjoy your stay.

The compresser was done anyway... so I just took it off.. these cars vent well enough in the summer with the windows and sunroof open.

As for what I've flowen... most of my training has been in c-150, 172's but since I became licenced, I've done the majority of my flying in a piper tri-pacer, also logged a few hours in a CC-130 (20 mins  ), tomahawk, and a Yale!! Those things are a thrill to fly, bigass rotary engine... taildragger... I wish I was around for WWII just for the flying.

haha tri-pacers :D , ugly as hell, yet fly remarkably well, I have just under 2 hrs in one. It's good to know you enjoy flying as much as Suby's if not more!
