My tranny makes a whining noise when I'm in or holding the shifter near first gear and going 5-15 mph. I notice it especially when coming to a stop with the car in first. Clutch in or out doesn't make a difference.
I'm not sure but is that my throwout bearing? It only started after I got smart and took it drag racing (legally, of course). It doesn't do it in the other gears so I'm not too bothered, yet I don't wanna create any more problems.
