painted 2 of my wrx wheels gold. first time, 5 mins, no paint on the tires.
i figure you only see one side at a time so why not have 2 colors. gold will looked sick slamed on the flex's too. hopefully ill have pics of a red ring im putting on the other 2 wheels what are still black

you should have taken off the wheel balancing weight before you painted it, cause if it ever falls off, or has to be rebanced, the wheel will have a spot you missed.

ive seen a few people do it before but with different wheels. lexani's on hondas mostly. not sure how jdm it is but meh. its not like i did it for the jdm anyways. the red ring was inspired by the special edition ce28 though.
as for the weight. thats how it was painted before. plus when i get them rebalenced with my new tires (eventualy) ill have the weights inside and ill just redo the paint. its not like home cheapo will run out of rustoleum any time soon
as for pics of the wheels on my ride if it wasnt onjackstands right now then i would. they still need to be wet sanded and cleared

its my garage mate man, his jdm ness is rubbing off on me. we put most of the arc catalouge on his car and arent even done yet. project mu brakes, the list goes on and on. i dont have his pocket book size so i have to keep up the best i can.
