Hi

Puyallup is one of my favourite place names.

The others are Sedro Wooley and in B C we have Spuzzum .

Out in the prairies there is a place and the only sign says Resume Speed.

Up in Alaska there is a settlement that is not much more than a cross roads and it is called "Chicken".
Apparently, when the place was being named the locals couldn't agree on how Ptarmigan was spelled
-- so they called it Chicken.
