i got some new suspension and i put the 17's i've had lying around on the car. so i did the customary photo shoot the pictures are not that good, the camera blows, but i'm going to borrow a good camera so i'll get some better shots later. but these shots are prett good for now
those are the optional bbs for the bugeye wrx right?
whatever they are, they look great. you need to paint your rear bumper though.
oh yeah what size are they?
Looks very nice I didn't know they sold those rims on Subi's here, where did you get them? Did they come gold? I really like them because of course the 22b lol. Overall she looks good

thanks. they're the factory option BBS wheels for the WRX. i got them from a guy i work with here at PIA. they're not gold, its just the crappy light/camera. they're actually silver with a polished lip
and putting the scoop on wasn't too hard, i just i ground all the mouting places off of the hoodscoop so it would sit flush on the hood, and positioned it where i wanted it with some tape, secured it firmly with lots of tape, and then i drilled some holes through the scoop and the hood, then rivited the scoop in place, removed the tape, waxed it, then you have to admire it

these rims are so light they're ridiculous, i think i'm going to be hanging on to them
and thanks guys!! i love the way it looks and rides right now, its stiff, but not coilover stiff. now i just need a front swaybar and i think i'll be done with suspension for a little while
i haven't seen the trackmonkey roll center adjusters. how much? their website is down now so i cant look.

Yes yes i know... but i have a perrin adjustable RSB now, and absolutely no front sway bar (put it on the grey t-leg i had couple months ago because it didnt have one, and forgot to switch it back when i sold the car) so now i have NO front swaybar. i know it increases understeer, but in conjunction with the bigger RSB it makes the car feel like its on rails, and i likes that alot!!!

Big front bar is good, it doesn't increase understeer until you go past the limit of your tires, up until then it keeps the suspension in a better place as far as camber and roll go. So go as big as you can.
But don't larger bars ultimately limit wheel travel, which prevents the front wheels from gaining camber under compression, which would promote understeer.
I mean, isn't that why big rear bars promote oversteer? They just don't allow the rear wheels to gain camber under compression.
You're absolutely right, bigger bar limits travel, this keeps the wheels in a better area of the camber curve. If you had a smaller bar in the same situation your suspension would be gaining positive camber, not negative. More wheel travel = more positive camber in our suspension, after a point anyway. You want to keep it from getting to that point. It's one of the downsides to macpherson strut suspension.
