F#^%@!!

Post by LegacyPunk »

Hey guess who's being billed for student loans already,  :(
$220 a month...Im still in college...where the hell is my grace period?? gahhhh, can't get much parental help either since they have to buy a new car.

Gonna have to call and be like hey, I haven't graduated yet, and if they say tough, Im screwed. I don't make enough money in a month to pay for that + living expenses. And if I have to work more somewhere that means I can't put as much effort into my demo reel and portfolio. (kind of important for what I want to do after college).

GAHHHHHHHHH!! being poor sucks.

Bastards. They did the same thing to me after 4 years of college, and I was like "I haven't graduated yet, not all engineers finish in the standard 4 years, especially when going part time" and they cut me a little slack. I'm paying now though. $140/month (I stopped borrowing after the first two years, after seeing how much it was adding up to).

damn, that really sucks. They'll probably work with you on the grace period though.

yeah all you have to do is send in a letter saying you're still enrolled and they'll extend the grace period. I did the same thing.

Glad it worked out for you.

Not to sound like an ass, but I'm very fortunate and thankful that my family is picking up my college tab without asking for any payment in return. I won't have to pay a penny in student loans when I graduate.

Dont feel to bad.

Went to a vocational college. Was told they where accredited.
Took out SEVERAL loans to cover costs. Went to school, studied, said my prayers, and took my Vitamins. Made it to 95% completion.

Come to School one day and the door is locked and chained.

Bloody bastards declared bankruptcy. and WHERE NOT accredited.

Their off scott free. Im still responsible for my student loans. have NOTHING to show for it. not even college credits.

And thier back in bussiness. can you geuss doing what?

A vocational school. Im wounder how long till they declare bankruptcy again and screw a whole new batch of students.
