Swapability of driveline

So im looking at a new tranny/diff in the coming month or so to fix my failing one. Ive heard issues of swaping wrx trannys/diffs due to spline count differences on the half-shafts. Ive also heard issues about the wider stance (half shaft length).

My car is a 93 SS 5mt with a 3.90 ratio i believe.

So if im looking at a 2000 2.5rs 5mt tranny and lsd diff with drive shaft (<57k on them for a great price), what other parts would i need to make this work? Flyweel/clutch/fork? Is it doable without swaping hubs?

Forgive me if this has been discussed already, i searched and wasnt able to find anything.

Yeah, you can use your existing axles.

The one thing you will run into is the clutch type. Your SS currently has a pull style clutch setup. The 2.5rs uses a push style clutch. You will also need the clutch slave cylinder, and probably the partner clutch master cylinder.
