1993 SS 5 speed in Astoria, OR $2000

Post by John Drivesabox »

I was back home cruising around and saw a '93 SS that I was oogling months earlier with a For Sale sign in the window. It appears to be in excellent factory condition and from what I could read through the window it has approx 136,000 miles.

I plan on test driving it later this afternoon (May 28th 06) but I will only be in town until tomorrow. I'll post up the phone # later tonight so anyone interested can contact her. My buddy's ridden in this car before and he says it runs good, fast, all that and from what I can tell it's very straight and I didn't see any rust. I'm also going to find out if she's flexible on the price, even though it's probably worth upwards of $3 grand.

*Edit 5/29/06* Car wasn't in its usual spot yesterday, hopefully it's there today or I won't get to test drive it. I will get the phone number eventually

I am very interested, please definitely post the phone number, that's of course only if you do not plan to buy it.

Thanks,
Pye

I was never able to test drive it, but ASAP my buddy will get me the # and test drive it if possible. Sorry to get everyone's hopes up but this girl is hard to catch and I had to leave town before I could get with her, believe me I tried.

I spoke to the gal last night. It's maroon with black interior. She says it's fast and has plenty of power, no rust, about 134,000 miles. Has a slight dent by the right front corner light from an accident--she T-boned another car going 20 mph. Has a few cigarette burns in one or more seats and the headliner. Has had the car about 23,000 miles and changed oil 3 times with non-synthetic oil. She's selling it to buy a truck for off-roading/mudding.

It may make someone a good car.

Has anybody checked this car out or maybe even driven it yet? Hopefully somebody on here picked it up.
