End link question

Post by Murphy »

umm... i hope this doesnt sound stupid...
but i heard that some of the older legacys had plastic end links that would break if you ever wanted to upgrade your rear swaybar

well i looked at mine and realised....i dont know what it looks like
is it the bolt that goes down into the arm?

just a reminder, its a 90' LS AWD with 4EAT (and sunroof)

I believe that Subaru used that design in '90-'91 or '92, and switched to the c-style rear endlinks and tubular lateral links that are used on Imprezas through today.

What you have pictured is the earlier style that accomplishes the same thing.

My '91 SS uses the same setup, but I was planning on swapping so I could use more Impreza parts.
