does any body have a rough idea how much boost can be ran thru a awic before it heat soaks?

Depends on what you use for a pump, radiator, and any extra cooling

Factory equipment is set up for factory boost.

But I couldnt give you any real numbers, Id be pulling them out my ass.

Best way to do it IMO?

Increase the boost until you see a rise in water temp.

I ran 15psi with no problems or detonation with a completely stock AWIC setup.

This was with a VF8. Remember, if you use a smaller turbo, you may be making alot more heat at higher boost levels.
