What fluids am I checking

Post by dacecil »

I notice now that I have 2 dipsticks for my 91 Legacy AWD Automatic transmission.

The one on the left (driver's side) is long and goes back under the firewall into the transmission.

The one on the right is very short and goes straight down.

Which is which, what type of fluid do they take and how much?

Thanks
Dale

The long one is the ATF fluid dipstick.

The short one is for the front differential fluid.
