I was finally able to get my car running good again, in fact it probably runs better than it has since I got. I hooked up a pressure line to my wastegate and ran 14 psi for a while which was pretty wicked with the cams and setup.
Then I plugged in my mbc and turned the boost up to 18psi although the gauge shows 3psi more than the digital one on the local dyno. I was driving around testing the car out and all I could think was wow. However I found that the exedy stage one clutch can't hold the power that 18psi produces.
Today I had a run in with an STI and I'll try to keep it short and say that even though the rpm bounced off the rev limiter 3-4 times in 2nd gear, the car was still pulling away from the sti although slowly, at least until 3rd where the clutch wouldn't hold at all.
I think if the clutch would have held, there would have been a good sized distance between the two cars shortly. I'm still really impressed that the Legacy was holding its own with the clutch as bad as it is. I guess it's time to take it easy on the clutch until i can afford a new one.
