Tire Recommendations 205/55/16

Post by GLCraigGT »

With the rainy season approaching I need to get some new tires for my 94GT. I'm currently running Toyo Proxes 4s on '03 WRX wheels but these tires have not impressed me enough to go out and buy another set. I need a tire that I can run year round in the typical PNW, west of the Cascade's, climate. I'm not too worried about ice and deep snow traction because I have a set of Hakkapeliittas that I can throw on for the few days that we get severe winter weather. The only modifications that I have done to my GT are a 22mm adjustable rear swaybar and whiteline swaybar endlinks.

So what are some of your suggestions?

These are fun, and on closeout. They seem to be getting cheaper every couple weeks. They are also cheaper in 205/50-16.

Dang. Only $90 apiece for the 205/50/16s......

I still think I'm gonna go with the BFG G-force sports, though........

That is a great deal!

Since I've got the 7" RS rims I could use the 215/55WR16's - do I have that right?

General Exclaim UHP's are even less expensive and have great Tire Rack rating especially in the wet...
