changed coolant temp sensor, check engine light back on

Post by blackmax »

Had a check engine light- dealer scanned and said coolant temp sensor no good-confirmed by the fact that it was hard to start and fans were always on even when car was cold. Put in new sensor, pulled the ecu fuse, waited a while, put it back in and car was okay for about 50 klm-now light back on-any ideas? thx

Pull the code yourself and see what sensor it is...
