Im going to be hauling around a lot of engines, transmission, etc over the next few months.

It just makes sense to me

Good purpose. Regular outbacks have more cargo room but it would be tough to get a cherry picker in there.

Plus I dont really want anything covered in grime/oil/grease to be inside the carpeted cabin :/

Even if you wrap it, carpet has a way of absorbing oders.
