I recently purchased a 92 Legacy Sport with 159K. In perfect condition with little blemishes to the body and completely clean and rip free interior. So the car has been very well taken care of. HAd been sitting for a while before the guy decided to sell it. It has a bad vibration from up till about 40 mph and then smooths out. But the vibration will return under hard acceleration. I installed the FWD fuse to check it out and it went away. So i am wondering if my AWD is going bad or if something else oculd be my issue.

Check all your tires' air pressure. Run the front about 2-3 psi higher then the rear. Also check that the wear is even between all four.

If it's still doing it, you may have some issues with the AWD system, or possibly a CV axles.

I will do that. Upon readin gall the other questions people have about their AWD issues, they always seem to have them during turning, where mine is just from an initial start. Would rotating my tires possibly help at all?

Probably not, unless you find an extreme difference in tire circumference.

So i put the FWD fuse in and was driving it aorund and i noticed that around 45 Mph there is a vibration in the steering wheel, and when i accelerate it pulls real hard to the right. Could any of this be related to the vibration i have when i have it in AWD?

might be really bad tires, bad cv boot, tires badly out of balance.
