it looks like an attempt at equal length? IMHO looks like shit, too much hardware, too many brackets, braces, etc. too much to break.

According to Rocket Rally, the first thing they do on any pre-modded subaru they get in the shop, is take off the headers and put the stock manifold back on

hmm. i wonder why?
reliablity or better tourqe?

Reliability, torque, sound, lack of any significant upper end gains

Those look like total shit...

And it is proven that headers do not gain performance on Turbo Soobies

the two piece design is interesting,
the rigolis use ported stock manifolds on their impreza if that says anything about headers...

Thats an OBX pipe. The nice thing about them though is there easy to convert to twin scroll. Bad thing is they rattle and leak without a bit more welding on them.

Those do look like shit, no doubt about that.

It's proven that headers do not gain performance on lightly modified turbo soobies.

It's also proven that at the other end of the spectrum, headers can make quite a difference.

On one wagon, a set of GTSpec headers with an external wastegate (and with the "velocity funnel" removed) gained around 40whp. The car ended up making 478whp on pump gas at 18psi.

well they might not gain you any power but i still think they would look really nice on a car.

Nick,

GTSpec thought it was a good idea to put a small diameter pipe in the middle of their uppipe. A noticeable gain was seen by removing it when using the EWG.

Those are the headers Derek is using for his twin scroll setup. We'll se how it works out.

A friend of mine has a little business called Grimmspeed. He Ports/polishes/ceramic coats the factory exhaust manifold. Also, if you know anyone with a newer turbo car, he does a really good job with the TGV deletes.
