AWD question

Post by pimpdaddy »

I wanted to know if my 91 AWD legacy has a 50:50 power distribution between the front and rear axles?

read up on it, it isn't that simple.

iirc it's 50/50 for first and second gear (in 4eat) and something like 90-10 in the rest

^^ That's for the 4EAT. The 5MT is 50/50.

Of course, in both cases, that's the "default" split. The instant wheels start slipping, both types of diff redistribute the power in a better way.
