Any webdesigners on here?

If anyone has some decent knowledge about designing websites I could use some help. I am creating a Form for my school's online store. I'm not sure how to enable the form to be sent to an e-mail.

Can anyone help me?

I had to do a project for a class where we did that, unfortunately I was in charge of the design not the forms. We used the free version of visual studio.net which has awesome tutorials and thats where my teammates figured out the getting forms contents emailed off the server.

you need a cgi script on the server.

Are you using PhP with MySQL in this class?

Its not actually go on the web just yet. I have no idea how that works. This is my first time.

So it works, I just had to insert this tag: <input type="hidden" name="email" id="email" value="evo_fan_rs@yahoo.com" />

But it only works with outlook or outlook express. So I need to find another way to make it totally universal. Even if you are a cave troll with some old ass computer.

I'm guessing it works with Outlook Express as that's what your pc is set up to use as a default mailing application?
You can try changing your default email client (temporarily) to see what happens. I'm not sure if you'll need to close and reopen the browser, or just click the submit button.

I'm not really a cave troll, but I do have an old PC running Linux near my desk at work. It's one of those with slot processors and ISA slots. Amazingly enough, my dad still has his first one from the 70s that uses 8-something-inch floppies. It still works, but it's not useful for much more than laughs. It's still good that you're considering a wider audience. *thumbs up*

haha, yeah. Well out where I live you can't expect every one to have some of the more up to date programs like Outlook, or Macromedia Flash... Heck most people dont even have a highspeed internet connection!

And since the website will be connected to our school's home page it needs to be as universal as possible.

I have NO internet connection at home.
One basic 3ghz amd64 pc with 1g of ram and one 4ghz AMD with 2G of ram. ...and I gave my wireless card away. I'm not going to complain a bit about it.
