I was just about to order a set of Brembo replacement rotors all the way around for my '91 SS, when I noticed something odd.
On Tirerack, they have the rear listed as a solid rear disc. Now I have had my brakes apart many times, and my rear rotors are definitely vented. I think this may be a typo, so I call them to check. They tell me that no it's definitely not a typo and that that is definitely what the part is.... Then the bastard hangs up on me!
WTF?
The part they have listed for the LT says specifically just for AWD Turbo models, yet they have it listed as a solid disc for both turbo and n/a rears.
I looked through Brembo's catalog, and they don't have plain rotors in there. Just cross drilled and/or slotted.
I just wanna order the correct rotors all the way around. Is that really so much to ask?
What brake rotors?

I'm talking with another vendor about a set of SP Performance rotors. I was already going to get pads from him......

From what I have experienced most places don't know about the separate listing for vented turbo rears or they do, but never stock them.

WRXbrakes on Nasioc knows about them.
Apparently one of his friends has a Legacy Turbo rally car.
He really knows his stuff, and I would highly recommend him. He can get a whole bunch of stuff.
