Did my brakes yesterday.

I pulled off the front left dust shield (already took off the front right one) and installed 2002 WRX front rotors and calipers. In the rear, I changed the rubber slider bushing (bottom one) and the boot for the slide pin and lubed everything up.

For pads I went with SP Performance street pads. Cost me under $120 shipped for both fronts and rears. For fluid I used Valvoline SynTec, just like I always do. Bled all the old fluid out through my new speed bleeders as well. The old stuff was green, which I found rather quite odd. I guess some of the grease they used in my remanufactured master cylinder turned the fluid that color....? Anyway, bled it 3 or 4 times until new fluid was coming out of each corner, which took about 1 full liter of fluid.

I did a more aggressive break-in than normal, as suggested by Stoptech. I didn't turn my rear rotors, so after the 2nd or 3rd hard stop I could see it smoking the old pad material off the rotor.

When I got back and looked, the fronts and rears looked the same, so I am sure it got all the old stuff off of there and put on a coating of the new pad material.

I must say, I am impressed with the setup. Stops much harder than it used to, and takes alot more to fade. Mainly, though, I am impressed with how good it feels. I think I still had some air trapped from when I changed the master cylinder, but my brakes have almost always felt like total shit. Like stomping on a dead squirrel (or at least what I imagine stomping on a dead squirrel would feel like). They feel MUCH firmer now, and I feel much more confident going into a turn braking hard.

Got a chance to test them out in a real world situation when a bimbo in a Scion TC tried to get me to hit her. She started pulling out into my lane (far right) then stopped so I had to change lanes to avoid her. Then the bitch KEEPS PULLING IN FRONT OF ME. Mind you she came to a stop halfway into my lane, then started again, cutting me off even more. At this point I was already moving left, so instead of whipping it to the right under braking and probably oversteering (I know this would happen), I just continued to the left braking hard. Despite her best attempts to the contrary, I avoided her, and I was glad I had done the brakes when I did.
