GC8?
Yup. After Tuesday I'll be an official impreztle owner. I'll probably do a stroked EJ22T swap into it once the Legacy is done.

Waiting on piston rings from Japan, then I can put the engine together.

Very cool. Nice looking car.
It needs to be turbo though. Espically because it's an Impreza.
Just turn it into an RSTi

The more I drive my girlfriend's GM6, the more I like it just as it is. She flew out to Cali last week and left me her car (I wanted to check on a clunk in the rear) and I put a good 100 miles on it. It's no STi, but it just does everything well. Just enough power to get yourself in trouble, just handles good enough to piss off some Audi yuppies in a cloverleaf, just comfortable enough to drive out-of-state for the weekend.
That said, I'd make your new GM6 the stock daily and keep the Legacy as your nutso car.

Nice. Are those Hella 500's I spy? I'm hoping that I can get myself an RS when I got a nice chunk saved up. I make sure to test drive every last one I see for sale, which fortunately they've all been at different dealers
I've found that they've got a completely different feel from other Imprezas of the same era, in a good way

They aren't P1s...I should know. They probably are OZ, or a copy of.

Painted stockers.
Ill upgrade the brakes eventually, but not until the legacy is finished.
