5mt swap clutch issues

Post by urabusturbo »

I have looked all over and still cannot find any info on the hydraulic clutch stlyes between a 92 ss and a 98 gt. I tried using my slightly used 94 ss clutch but it didnt work out, i just wound up breaking the fork and having to take everything all apart. Yesterday i spent all the money i made last week on a new clutch kit for a 98 gt (because i am using a newer transmission in this swap). The clutch looks pretty different compared to the old one and im afraid it wont work now. Can somone please help me? This is extremely frustrating

The two setups are very different, push versus pull type. Search for that and you'll get some answers.
