Hey guys, im new and excited

Post by Woody9101 »

K, well my grandma gave me her 1992 sedan legacy 4WD automatic with the EJ22 N/A. I was wondering what kind of headers/intake could bolt up to that. Also I was wondering if the EJ22T motor mounts are the same as the EJ22 in the legacy so I don't have to fuck with that for a swap, and if so what do I have to do for the swap. what do I need? thanks! ill have pics in a couple of weeks:) :-D

I saw your thread title and then you're nick and thought how ironic it was that you said you were excited. :)

Don't bother with headers. . . no point, really. Intakes, you'll get some mixed responses on them. . . but motor mounts I believe are very swappable. Try the STi mounts. . . we put them on Matt's rally car and it made a huge difference.

But with the stock mounts in my 92 legacy with the EJ22T mount up to that with out a problem? Or would I have to fab them to fit?

Huh? Pat Olsen on nasioc has dyno plots before and after headers. He got an extra 15hp to the wheels.

I'm putting on obx headers with a mostly wrx exhast along with delta cams when I swap in a fresh 2.2 driveline in a few weeks. Leaving the intake alone.

On a SOHC NA 2.2? I hadn't heard.
