trouble going into gear

I have a 94 legacy turbo 5sp and all of a sudden the car won't go into third gear now. I now have to go from second to fourth, and it just got back from the shop with a new clutch.

What do you mean 'wont go into third'

Does it grind?
Does it just get stuck?
etc

What happens when you try and put it where 3rd should be...

it doesn't grind, its more like it sticks it won't lock into third gear. does it matter the the shifter is also very loose. i mean when its in gear i can still move the stick all the way from one side to the other (in all the gears), like you can when its in neutral.
if anyone has any idea what could be causing this please let me know.

Have you tried getting under the car and tightening the nuts and bolts on the shift linkage?

no i haven't tried doing that yet, is there anything else it could be or might be.

i can get it to go into third but not wen the car is in motion, also the problem first happened in heavy rain not sure if that could have anything to do with it.
