I saw something the other way around once. A RX7 with a EJ20 under the hood.

They put all kinds of weird things in RX7's. The LS swap is really popular these days. An LS-FD is on my list of "must haves" before I die. It seems like such a fun daily driver. Just a few mods and you've got near 400whp and almost unlimited torque potential at better-than-RX7 reliability.
