Feeler 1990 subaru legacy PGT rally car.

The PGT rally car #502 has some body damage. It is rallyable in its current condition but will need a new rear clip and pass side dog leg replaced to look nice. Has a cage worth over $2500.00 in it. Has full rally interior with fire extinguishers, hella rally lights, harnesses good till 2010, skid plate, rally intercom, 4 KYB agx struts, a set of spare rally tires that need to be replaced. Everything you need to start a rally. Engine might need some going through. It overheats randomly. Needs a rear bumper cover thrown on. The frame has been bent in a rally crash but was straightened proffesionally. I did not have the body damage repaired at the same time. It is just in rallyable condition not pretty condition. I will sell the rally car complete for $2000.00 as it sits with everything including spare tires and rally bits. Or we can work out a deal to not include some stuff.

Can we get pics of the current back end? You said it was straightened proffesionally? How many miles on the engine? Any other things that will need replaced? How many rally's have the AGX's been through? I know you've rallied it a fair bit, what kind of condition is the underbody? How's the drivetrain? I pressume 5MT? Rear LSD? What kind of wheels are the spares? Will it make the drive from western WA to Idaho?

What's your time frame looking like? You said this is a feeler, how sure are you that you are going to sell it? $2,000 sounds exceptionally fair.

The engine is unknown milage. The car has 170?K miles on it i believe. It may have hit 180k by now. I know the RR strut is bent from the last accident. IT still works but needs to be replaced to have a correct alignment. The front end alignment is off. The underbody looks like a rally car. Lots of dents front hitting stuff. I was going to enter it in wild west rally this coming september. Only thing I was going to do to make me comfortable to rally it would be replace the water pump, rear bumper, RR strut and change oils. It has a recent clutch that grabs good still and I recently replaced the tranny so all the synchros work and it shifts nice. It has the OE diff which is not LSD. It runs on a set of legacy turbo wheels and a set of legacy LS wheels. Has 2 forester steelie spares that are both brand new. I wouldn't hesitate driving it to idaho. It needs a trip permit the tabs are expired. It passed emissions last year. Sometimes it overheats I think it is a sticking thermostat. When the problem happens there is no heat coming inside the car and then it will suddenly open and the car will be cool again. I would sell it for 2k. I have 6k into it or more but the body is beat up so I am not going to get what I have into it. I'm building a replacement and basically I need 2k for the cage install. Even that won't cover it. I am going with a completely new setup so thats why it comes with all the rally goodies. I am in no huge rush to sell it.

BTW this also comes with a current RA logbook. I changed my mind i'm keeping the intercom too. It is still a good deal without that.
