What can I use to insulate the front door's?

Post by ericem »

Hi, i was wondering what would be a good type of insulation for the doors, even just a foam. The main thing i want to eliminate is any sort of vibrations coming from the doors, whether im driving, or stereo is turned up, etc. Also are there any pieces in the door I should look at that might be raddling? Thanks!

Well. took apart the door. Was just the bolt at the bottom left corner that was loose. I also tightened up the screws on the door panel. Its all good now. But I think some good insulation would be a good idea. Plastic doesn't seem like a great sound insulator. Atleast now there is no raddle when the window is down and when the radio is turned up. Now i need a subwoofer...
