Manual seatbelts from a 95-99 in a 90-94?

Post by greg donovan »

anyone think this would work?

the seats from all the imprezas and legacys fit in each other, why not the seatbelts?

this would be going into our 90 legacy rallycross car.

we dont want to use a harness because we have no roll bar and the possibilty of a rollover is always present when sliding across dirt. especially in hastings nebraska apparently.

the belts are to keep us from eating steering wheel. we will use a racing seat to keep us in place.

I don't see why not. AFAIK the mounting is the same and it's something I've been meaning to try. You'll need the receivers to match the seatbelts, and they just bolt onto the seats.

Yes. I posted some pictures of the receivers when I put in wrx seats:

Unfortunately I was using my phone camera in the late afternoon in a shop.

So did this work. I hate my auto belts and want to go to manual belts with newer Legacy LSI seats?
