smoking my headlights

what is the easiest way to get them apart i know i cant throw plastic lights in the oven like i could with my loyale lights...maybe... :lol:

My headlights are plastic, and I need to toss 'em in the oven to remove the amber.

wait... you can toss plastic head lights in the oven to remove the amber color from the corner of the lights. How is this done i might wanna do just that :)

just cook them really low like 200 degrees maybe five or ten mins. get the metal clips off before you bake, and if the glue holding the two halves together hasn't melted enough then bump the temp a few degrees. You should be able to pull them apart by hand (oven mitts FTW)

I did mine black a while ago.

+1 bmxkelowna and I did this (I copied him ;) ), 150-200F for about 10 minutes. Just keep an eye on them and when you can start to pull them apart without insane amounts of force you are good. Now time for some pics:

Do not overcook - keep an eye on them. I melted a parking light that way. I used a heat gun on my headlights.
