Hi all,
Just went out for a spin in the car, a manual 1996 GT-B TT.
I was giving it a good drive, when I had to stop to get fuel I got back in the car and the clutch pedal felt as though it had moved down a bit.
I was also having problems selecting all gears.
I drove on a bit and then pulled over and with the car idling, I had the clutch pressed down fully, and selected first, but I could fell the clutch bitting very slightly even though the clutch pedal was to the floor.
There is no problem selecting gears when the car is moving, and there is no slippage or performance loss.
Its done this before and I asked about it on here and changing the gearbox oil was mentioned, I have done that so I dont think this could be the problem.
Could this be heat related? As I said I was giving it a good hard drive.
Done a bit of reading on here and some things point to the slave cylinder which is near the turbo, so the heat from that might be causing a problem wit the seal?
Thanks
Dorian

Perhaps try bleeding the master/slave clutch cylinders in the same manner you would your brakes. This helped the feel of my clutch immensely in addition to purging the older nasty fluid.
