I believe that you are talking about the rear drive shaft carrier bearing? If so, I have one that is still on a AT drive shaft. I will take a look at it tonight and see if I can get it off without messing it up.

hey, im actaully looking for one as well, but all the stores ive been to tell me its a dealer item, and theres no dealer within a 2 hours drive
is one out of a junkyard on a lesser mileage car likely to work?

the shaft is not original though, its very odd looking, its a one piece but its got a thing in the middle that acts as a u-joint with the carrier bearing behind it, i might just have to buy a new driveshaft....

shippinng the whole thing might be expensive. I will look at is ASAP and let you know.

I do know that the U-joints are not serviceable (dang it anyway) and that would force a complete purchase of a new (~$500 if I recall correctly).

Wholesaleimportparts.com has driveshafts for our cars for around $369 if I remember right and the u-joints would be serviceable on their unit. They don't have the 5 spd shafts, but do have the auto tranny one. The difference is the carrier bearing versus the constant velocity joint on the 5-spd. Their number is 888-475-2386.
