Help Please!

Just got a 91 Legacy AWD Wagon. Pics to come. I need some help getting the stock cross-bars off the roof rack. I remove the giant brass thumbolts. Still won't budge. Found a strange twisted hex tool in the console doesn't seem to do anything on the rack.

Previous owner hasn't a clue.

Help Please.

hex tool should be for the sunroof. Not sure how hte cross bars come off, or if they do. My roof rack was in the back of the wagone (still assembled) when I got it.

Hex tool is for auto seatbelts too.

ah the seatbelts! Thanks.

Still no luck removing x-bars. I'll be using my dremmel if nessessary :twisted:
