And it all fit. However..... The 17mm bolt for the front seats DOES NOT ALIGN. You have to fuck with the bracket grinder style to make it work. The seats do not have the plastic brackets for the seat belts. and..... well, it seems to work ok for all the above.
The best part is it was $20 on EBAY, plus $30 for gas and food, but it was a decent fun drive for me and my boy.

Doug,
I have a set of '02 WRX seats in my '92 they don't have the captive brackets for the auto shoulder belts, and I had to swap my original buckles over. I just slid the shoulder belts under the buckle stalk and they stay just fine, sometimes I have to slide them back under but they work. Here's a photo of the belt:

About those Outback seats....
Doug,
Since the 95-00 is about an inch wider, was there any kind of fuss with the fitment? Also, does the new back seat have a center shoulder belt, or just the lapbelt? I had an epiphany that if I can't retrofit a shoulder belt into the center position of my 93, I can't keep the car b/c I can't safely carry all 3 kids back there.
Do you have any pics to post...or email?

Why is a shoulder belt REALLY needed in the center backseat?
One reason is to prevent splitting an 8 yr old in half in a high-speed collision.
Second, I doubt most states allow children to ride without a shoulder belt, citing safety concerns & I concur.
