I went. Sweet 5 hour drive from my house good 'ol wyoming to steamboat. Had a good time. You guys have some beautiful roads down there. THe roads for the spectators were even fun...well if you weren't behind 40 other cars trying to get to the stages.
Its too bad they cancelled the afternoon stages, granted only 1 of them was a spectator stage.
I hope the guy who raced the old leggacy turbo post on here, that car was awesome. Super clean and well done.
Got to meet Pastrana....I mean Pasty pants. NOt a fan. My buddy asked him a simple question and... "Tell you the truth I don't know a thing about cars!" All with that goofy ass smile. At least Foust beat him. THat guy was flat out!
Did I mention that I am in love with Chrissie Beavis?
Who else went?

I went. I was crewing for the Flatirons Tuning Car. We blew two y-pipes because someone kept turning up the boost. I personally like Travis. It is funny to watch him walking around everywhere. The guy seems so ADHDish that he can't sit in one place. It is hilarious! He isn't cocky either and nice to talk too.

Yeah I don't know about travis man... he's my age, my brother raced him a few times when they were younger in motocross and I remember standing in lines and such at Supercross races to see him... Still don't know...

Yeah that was my Legacy out there this weekend. Thanks for the compliments! The car is a miniature tank, I'm very impressed with how well its held up this past year of racing for being a 16 year old car. I'm going to try to get some pictures of it up soon for anyone that may be interested as well as pictures I took during the build so you can see how much its changed over the past year since I got it. I've also got a website in the works, but don't have much on it yet unfortunately.

Cool! We spoke with your dad for a while about it. He was very excited. I got some video of you on stages 4, 9, and 13 I think. I will try to get them up sometime. My friends and I were cheering for you and our friends in the VW R32 way more than we were the top 4 teams. Get those pics up here!!
Did you do the cage and everything yourself? if so i may be needing your help and suggestions...

Awesome, I'd definitely like to see some video of us out there. Although it seemed like we always had something go wrong right in front of the spectator areas.
The cage and all the other little welding work was done by a few friends at Salta Motorsports in Denver. I was there helping where I could, profiling and prepping bars, etc, but I can't weld so I left that part of it to them. All the mechanical work, some cage design (where we had a choice since we had to follow the strict FIA regs), remaining interior work, wiring, etc was done by me though.

We ended up 4th, we blow 2 y-pipes which put us back about 4 mins. So not the best result. What were you driving around up there? I might have seen you.
The arbor is great, I can't wait to ride it this winter.
I sometimes wish I had a first gen legacy rally car instead of the impreza, the legacy was just a beast of a rally car and just looks so mean!

Nice. Friday and sunday we were in a green impreza coupe with hella on the front of it, sunday in a Chevy Equinox
The impreza is my friends and the chevy was what my other friend was loaned from the dealer we all work at. He had some gm classes just before the rally so we met there. Including our two vehicles, I only saw one other with wyoming plates.
I used to work at an Arbor dealer here, I ride a neversummer Titan but the A-frame (s series or what ever they are calling now) would be my other pick.
Agreed on the legacy rally cars. Hot is the only way of describing them.
