05 WRX wheels

Post by ohwee »

I'm considering a set of 05 WRX wheels for my white turbo sedan. Does anyone have these currently and can you post a decent picture so I can see what they would look like?

Here's what they look like on the WRX...

Thanks!

No pic but,
I've recently seen a legacy wagon with these wheels. Looked nice. Weather they fit the car or not is up to you. Personally, I think not.

You kidding? The bronze 05 rex wheels are pretty sweet.

Yeah, I totally love that style of wheel that came on the WRX & some newer Legacys. I think they look better than the wife's LGT snowflake wheels. I also want a set of those for my LSS.

I prefer the previous generation of WRX wheels (with the flat spokes) over the new ones. They match the styling of the car more than these new skinny ones.

I liked them enough to get some. We're getting a bunch of snow today! ...

+1 for SNOW!

I have my Hakkas mounted on those rims...but I like the earler ones a little better; seem to go better with the car.

All we got here was 1/2" of ice pellets, followed by 2" of salt on the roads. 20+ traffic accidents... on a Sunday friggin morning.

So nice you posted it twice? or are you showing the difference between no anti-sways and w/ anti-sways?

Awesome photos! Have you thought about painting them body color? IMO, I think it would look cooler.

I actually want to powdercoat them a dark gunmetal or british black, like the STi wheels on the PIA built Forester STi.
