bad shaking/ tire hop on hard right turns?

Post by mgroshong »

ok well this just started happening recently after a little spirted driving on some gravel, think sideways alot... haha

it is only when i turn right and give it gas/wot through the turn.

so could it be a blown strut? or maybe a bushing that took a shit on me?

i have good tire pressure so i don't think it is the tires.

idk i havn't had a chance to get it on the lift at work to check things out, anything i should look for and check?

any help would be helpfull thanks in advance

Did you put the car in the air and shake everything? Are you sure its not torque bind?

i have not had the chance to put it on the lift yet. i was going to do it today, but was way to busy at work.

can you explain what torque bind is and why it could cause this situation?

thanks

I STRONGLY doubt it's torquebind. It would be far more pronounced than a little bit of wheel hop.

Any roaring from the back? Scraping? I wonder if a bushing or your wheel bearing crapped out. It could just be physics though because most AWD cars, when taking corners tight, do tend to lift up the inner rear wheel.

it deff. coming from the front end somewere. i just took a left turn at around 40 mph wot and it was fine. but if i were to do that going right it would shake like the front end it falling off, not good

does this sound wheel bearing related? i wounder if i shouldn't just take to a alighnment shop and have them look at it.

If its easier for you definitely give them a try. They can put it in the air and inspect for you right.

well the left front strut top hat is broke and the front right strut has no fluid in it... so it is prolly causing it to shake like crazy ... idk
