frankenquestion

Post by speedoboy31 »

i'm beginning to build a 2.5/2.2 headed beast. sent my heads to be checked by a machine shop. they had to cut .011 off to get them flat. does anyone know if this is gonna jack my cr too much? the 2.5 was a dohc in a 99 outback and i'm gonna use the multi-layer gaskets. just don't wanna put it all together if the haeds are gonna be a problem.

use the DOHC 2.5 head gasket and c/r will be fine. For what its worth i had my heads planed, and used a thin head gasket with a Phase II block.
