driveability issue. intermittent

Post by mcbrat »

runs great most of the time, other times, runs like poo.

when taking off from a stop sign, it'll bog down, sputter, stutter,etc...

I did some searching on the forums here, and found something about a pressure sensor...

then this afternoon when it was in a "fit", I heard a slight clunk, and it was back to running great again...

thoughts?

Can you give an approximate vicinity of the origin of said 'clunk'?

after much digging through the posts here, I believe it to be the wastegate sticking open, and the "clunk" was it going shut....

I oiled up the wastegate shaft, and it seemed to help a bit , but I believe it's the pressure sensor....
