After changing my brake pads yesterday my brake light is stuck on. I couldn't think of why that would happen, but apparently bleeding my brake lines lowered the fluid level enough to make the light come on. I didn't think that was it because my running lights are also kept off like they are when the park brake is engaged. I think that a low fluid indicator shouldn't cut your running lights, but that is just me......

I am waiting to fill up with new fluid as I am going to be replacing my lines soon. Opening and closing the cap didn't toggle the indicator off but I did see that the level is about 1/3 inch below the float sensor.

I don't know what the Canadian DRL wiring's like, but it's not unreasonable that they might have just wired it into the same circuit that runs that warning light.
Just try taking the cap off the master cylinder and pulling up on the float. If it makes the warning light turn off and makes the daytime running lights work, then everything's fine, and we've learned something new.

i have the exact same problem colder time is arriver and my light open un i did theopening cap and ill check if this correct the problem
i had a brake line repair under the back seat just hope its brake somewhere else.
but from now on i can't tell maybe it's come from my staiinless brake line i just install ill check that too and let you know
