i figured as much. mine were in such bad shape i am amazed they still worked.mike270 wrote:Unfortunately not, I cut the wires and had to hammer them out of the hub as well.
i think new is going to be the only way to go for these.
i dont really miss the ABS enough to spend 200+ on a pair of sensors.

Yeah, I've been able to remove two of my four without damaging mine... I did however ruin one.. Upon reinstall, I put them in with anti-seize.. hehe if there's a next time...greg donovan wrote:i figured as much. mine were in such bad shape i am amazed they still worked.mike270 wrote:Unfortunately not, I cut the wires and had to hammer them out of the hub as well.

Oh and Subaru sells them for $130-$160 I believe.. But yeah, I've got two good ends I picked up from a doner car, I'm going to try to keep the proper length when I install a new end, trying to attempt saving some dough.
My only worry is that there may be a tight tolerance for inductance... Any shorter/longer and it'll start to change with the wires being a "twisted pair"... But I've two good ends, so it's worth a few hours of my time to save that much dough...
