FS: 1991 Turbo Legacy Parts - Stock Brake System Parts

Post by mike270 »

All parts are off a 1991 Turbo Legacy with ~167k miles. These parts are coming off a stage rally car, but most parts have only seen a few hill climbs under competition.

---- Stock Turbo Legacy Front Calipers - $25/pair+ shipping

---- Stock Brake Master Cylinder - $30 + shipping – Works great, good condition, replaced it when going to my new brake setup.

---- Stock Brake Proportioning Valve - $10 + shipping – In good working condition.

---- Stock Bosch ABS Unit - $30 + shipping - This is the ABS unit just behind the passenger headlight.

Pictures can be provided upon request. All prices are negotiable, so if you are interested, make me an offer!

do you have the ABS sensors?

when i swapped spindles the ones on my car broke and the sensors on the replacement spindles had the wires cut.

Unfortunately not, I cut the wires and had to hammer them out of the hub as well. :(

i figured as much. mine were in such bad shape i am amazed they still worked.

i think new is going to be the only way to go for these.

i dont really miss the ABS enough to spend 200+ on a pair of sensors.

Yeah, I've been able to remove two of my four without damaging mine... I did however ruin one.. Upon reinstall, I put them in with anti-seize.. hehe if there's a next time...

Oh and Subaru sells them for $130-$160 I believe.. But yeah, I've got two good ends I picked up from a doner car, I'm going to try to keep the proper length when I install a new end, trying to attempt saving some dough.

My only worry is that there may be a tight tolerance for inductance... Any shorter/longer and it'll start to change with the wires being a "twisted pair"... But I've two good ends, so it's worth a few hours of my time to save that much dough...

Bump...someone has to need this stuff!!! Make me an offer!

FYI, shipping costs on the transmission seem to be roughly $200-$225 from the various methods I've researched.
