Hey guys, I am looking at getting a set of 06 sti wheels. I believe the lug pattern is 5x114 is that true? Is there any way to swap hubs to make them work? How about SVX parts?
I am looking at getting them for $100 here in Idaho.
Thanks,

not without spending $1000 at 6gunracing.com
actually no even then you need an R180 and axles.

I have heard about hub adapters, but haven't looked into them.
You'd also be running an 8" wide wheel on a BC. Gooooood luck with that.

hub adapters are garbage and a VERY bad idea.
#1- gives an extra 15-20mm positive offset
#2- have to cut the existing studs to get them to fit
That should really be enough to convince you.
8" +53et wheels with 225s should clear ground control sleeves and rolled fenders. It puts the tire in the same place as my 7" wide wheels and I'm running 225s.

Sadly, NO.
But you can sell them to me for the $100 so I can use them on my 05 STI.

buy them for $100, sell them for $1000 on NASIOC, then go buy a set of 04 STi wheels which are 5X100.

8" wheels are a pain in the ass to fit, trust me; I spent about six hours over the course of two nights getting mine to BARELY clear the spring perches.
we're talking such small clearance that for the first 200 miles anything over 90mph made a high pitched rubbing noise as the tires expanded. now that the tread has a little new worn off of it they do better (no more rubbing) but it's not worth it unless you have coilovers.
and expect to roll your fenders a good deal to get them to clear, or you'll chew them up.
get 7.5" wheels, much less hassle.

so you cant swap the hubs to change the bolt pattern at all, unless you go rob a bank or something?
ive got some really nice universal 5 lug enki wheels that arent universal enough to fit a subie.

I know someone who used STi rear knuckles with svx rotors and backing plates to use normal rear brakes on his Impreza coupe. You can make hybrid axles, but things add up very quickly.
Step one: Buy wheels for $100
Step two: Post on NASIOC
Step three: ????????
Step four: Profit
