Political Hysteria

Post by Subtle »

This week, the Control Freaks are meeting in Bali. To save the planet, they need to create a "new world order", with a endless stream of new laws and regulations.

The last natural "disaster" that could only be remedied by more control was due our lifestyle "causing" Global Cooling:

"The rapid cooling of the earth since WWII is in accord with the increase in global air pollution associated with industrialisation, mechanisation, urbanisation and exploding population."

--Reid Bryson. "Global Ecology; Readings Towards a Rational Strategy for Man."

********

As the saying goes, nonsense so blatant that only an intellectual would fall for it.

Read "State Of Fear" by Michael Crichton...an excellent book on the global fear merchants and the methods they use to keep everyone in a mild state of panic about the ecosystem and weather. Classic Crichton, he uses a thriller novel to relay loads of statistical data, and shows how it can be bent to suit anyone's agenda.

Exactly. God bless the brilliant 'conservatives' in charge of God's own country - the United States of America. I can't stand those damned intellectuals. Ignorance keeps us all happy while they do what they have to do behind the scenes to keep us safe.

I learned today that King Co. (most populated and control freaks) are preposing to the state senate an additional fee for owining a motor vehicle in this state. It is to be refered to as a 'carbon tax' the income of which will go to environmental groups, and such. The fee is to be $100 for each car owned, and up to $300 for SUVs, regardless of operation.

Now, the population of this state has rejected increased motor vehicle taxes (through tabs) the last umpteen times it has come to ballot. Hence we have the second highest fuel tax in the nation.

I know this is going to pass as our state gov't, and King Co. specifically, does whatever it wants regardless of the outcome of ballot. Thats why Ms. Gregoir is our govenor (after only three recounts), we have Qwest field (which our taxes are paying for, whether we use it or not), somking is illegal indoors, and its illegal to sell food cooked using trans-fats. Yes, let me repeat that. Our local gov't is so concerned with our well-being that it OUTLAWED THE USE OF TRANS-FATS in restaurants in the county.

Our government is out of control, gentlemen.

I agree with that. I want the US to be broken up, starting with the New England Alliance. Maybe we could remain as a commonwealth. State sovereignty has long been relegated to a joke and the bloated federal government, if it even wanted to, cannot possibly govern in a manner that best fits such a varied population and climate, nor can they support an infrastructure that's too damn big. The government has been hopelessly compromised by years of inbreeding, false-party divisions, big business, and special interests. It needs to go and I doubt the founding fathers would disagree, in fact I have little doubt many of them would be calling for it actively were they around.

ha ha trans fats fuck you up!
every time evolution says something, its good.
yeah i agree, the fed has way too much power, and people in general dont care about and dont understand what happens to them and their lives, or the future of our country. as long as you have money and a prrretty face<---(say it like a redneck :-D ha ha ) you can get into a position of secondary power. we're too caught up with britney whore-pants's latest sluttacular action and cooking with white collar insider trading criminals.
the constitution put the power in the hands of the states and their citizens but STUPID teddy ass screwed that up before we were even around.. OH WELL! :P

Yeah, we'll be cast out anyway, along with all the other blue states, intellectuals, free-thinkers & non-christians when The United States of Jesus finishes their power play and establishes a theocracy.
I had a great map, but can't find it :( showing how Canada, New England, and the West Coast will be a new superpower, while the US of J rots from within... stay tuned, kids!

If anyons else saw that map, please post it!

I don't know about a superpower as I don't think we'd have the military might nor the initiative to meddle in the business of others. I think New England would be something between a Scandanavian country and Canada. I could see Texas seceding on its own as well, maybe Colorado, but Nevada would have to go with it. At one point in time, Salem MA was such an important trading port with Asia that many thought they were their own country. That's what got me thinking.

Did you also know that the US dollar is now fucking less then the Canadian dollar, as well as the Australian dollar. It's a fucking disgrace! I don't think it really matters who's in office....they all suck!

Regarding the Bali global climate conference. I get daily emails from one of the engineering societies, and they made a note about the fact that the conference is contributing to CO2 emissions.
Critics accuse Bali meeting of contributing to CO2 emissions.
In continuing coverage from yesterday's briefing, the AP (12/5, McDowell) reports, "Never before have so many people converged to try to save the planet from global warming, with more than 10,000 jetting into this Indonesian resort island, from government ministers to Nobel laureates to drought-stricken farmers." However, critics charge that participants in the U.N. organized meeting "are contributing to the very problem they aim to solve. 'Nobody denies this is an important event, but huge numbers people are going, and their emissions are probably going to be greater than a small African country,' said Chris Goodall, author of the book 'How to Live a Low-Carbon Life.'" According to the U.N.'s own "estimates, 47,000 tons of carbon dioxide and other pollutants will be pumped into the atmosphere during the 12-day conference in Bali, mostly from plane flights but also from waste and electricity used by air conditioners at five-star hotels lining palm-fringed beaches."
I hate the term carbon footprint or whatever they're now starting to put on food and other crap that is produced. I'm all for saving the environment, but there's got to be better ways to do it, then let a bunch of fickle mush heads try and figure it out.

And I think it's too far gone to save so I'd like to see the union broken up (which prior to the so-called Civil War was an acceptable idea because states were more autonomous - it was a true union - not a bloated single government divided in little more than name for tradition's sake). It doesn't make sense to dictate a federal policy that suits Texas to a state like New York or vice versa. California has a lot of weird laws, so I could see them being first to secede.

If we're not to be broken up then every lobbyist, politician, (and CEO that's played golf with them) and their families (there are enough corrupt genes out there and history shows that inheritors can later cause trouble) should be taken out like the czar, but without the following Marxism.

I'm sure I'm on several lists right now.

Everyone will know. The odyssey of the damn book has been going on for a couple years. It's not all political (that's why I have the website to go along), but the philosophy of the Evolution Movement in the books and their megalomaniacal leader are based on my ideas and tendencies taken to their worst extreme.

i just found this really good website,
most of us already know about this stuff but i just thought it was cool.

http://www.newevolution.org/gallery.php?piece=menu

this guy makes these images, it's an art thing but the captions are descriptive and tell alot about the image... wow i'm sorry for that sentence

i just like the pictures, they are witty and get the point accross, i'm not too much of an art buff myself but i think its interesting, mostly the info.

is the book out yet or what evolution?[/url]
