I need to replace the rear bearing on 93 Legacy 2wd. The part is pretty cheap on rock auto. Is this a hard job. Can the whole assembly just be pressed out? I looked at some instructions on alldatadiy and the process they describe there involves disassembling the bearing to take it out which doesn't seem necessary. Is this an easy job?
I did a search in the forum and everyone seems to talk about buying used hub bearing assemblies. Is that because this is such a difficult job?
Thanks, Glenn

The AWD & FWD bearings are different. The FWD rear bearings are ball bearing, but I still think you need to press them in and out like the AWD rear bearings.
