Online HP Calculator (javascript)

Post by dropdfocus »

My ability to stumble across odd things while searching the internet had me come across this:
http://hpcalc.boostcontroller.com/
It's an online HP calculator that uses your car's weight (w/ driver), 1/4 mile time & trap speed. I ran the numbers on my old Focus ZX3 and it was pretty close to dead on. Just thought I'd share it with everyone.

Says my near stock SS puts 160 hp to the ground with the lowest weight the car possibly could have been. More weight would = more hp.

I've got a really good one if you have a dyno chart that calculates acceleration through a gear & power/weight/rpm and another that can give you max speed by determining how much hp/rpm/gear if you have cd and frontal area. I've yet to find a good mpg calculator. The ones that use BSFC don't seem to match.
