I'm going to Qatar for a month for work. Anyone ever been there before?
I just found out today that I leave tomorrow- talk about a heads up!
Should be interesting! Just kind of nervous because I don't know what to expect - I have heard that it's nice. I will miss the Subarus though!

what are they sending you there for?
i dont know much about it really, but i think its supposed to be fairly nice. i know Doha, its capital has allot of tourism and from what i seen looks amazing, not quite Dubai, but still very nice.

From what I know, it's one of the more laid back Muslim states. I think they're mostly wealthy there, so it should be an interesting trip.

I have heard only good things about Doha, I guess outside of the city there isn't much but sand.
I work for a software company that works with courts, and I'm going to Doha to help implement the software for the Qatar Supreme Judicial Council.
I've already met one of the judges here in the states- they are very wealthy! I'm kind of excited.
I've got a direct flight from DC to Qatar - 13hours.
I'm on my way to DC now, sitting in the airport waiting. for my plane. I'll keep you guys posted.
