Problem with brakes

Post by slammedwagon »

Hi all,

I have a 94 legacy sw and when I go to brake theres a clunk noise in the brakes and you can feel it in the brake pedal. I have been told it could be the abs system. I could probly take out the abs fuse and itl be ok...but I really wana fix the problem so hopefully someone in here knows what Im talking about and can help me out

Cheers

When you say there is a "clunk" noise, is it coming from outside the cabin or under the dash or what.
I had a clunk noise for a while and figured out that it was worn out caliper slide bolts.
Hope this helps and good luck.

hi it sounds like outside the cabin. itl only make the noise while coming to a stop after driving over 20-30kms, right before you come to a complete stop.
