here in area my local car electronic repaper have portable port scanner coverd most famous car. today he try to seach about port that he can make scan to the ecu. he didnot find it. my q. is port scanner inculed just OBD2
You can check your fault codes with OBD1 without a scanner. There are two pairs of connectors, one green and one black, below the steering column under the dashboard. The connectors are usually unplugged. One plugs will make the check engine light flash a failure code if there's a problem. I can't remember which one it is, but you can search for it if no one else chimes in after me.
The thing you'll need is a book to tell you what the codes mean. I'm not sure they are the same for every market car.
